HHDUGC JUNIOR TEAM PERFORM ADMIRABLY TO CLAIM OPENING WIN AGAINST BRADFORD  IN THEIR OPENNG YORKSHIRE INTER UNION  FIXTURE  AT OUTLANE

 The team got off to a brilliant start in the morning  foursomes when they opened a 10 – 2 lead with some excellant golf with none  of the 5 wins going the full distance and the only loss came on the 18th green when Bradford just managed to clinch a win to stem the tide.

The afternoon singles was a slight set back when Bradford won the opening match then a half and another 3 single matches were won and the score became 13 – 11 but the set back was just a minor blip and the next remaining 6 matches rose to the occasion and kept the momentum back to where it was and all the margins except one which finished on the 18th was convincing enough to claim a convincing victory.

The next fixture is against Leeds at Halifax on Sunday May 31st
