The 2026 /27 Winter Alliance Fixtures are now Available to book.
As another summer season of golf starts to come to an end with darker mornings and early sunsets, it’s time to look forward to winter and getting out with your friends for our  2026/27 Winter Alliance Events.
This year, we have a few minor changes to let you know about before we get started:
Price: Unfortunately, with the cost of everything still rising, we have had to make the decision to increase our entry fees from £25.00 to £27.50, which is down to the general cost of living increases we all face.Â
Prize Funds: We have decided to retain our current prize fund model, as it gives players a fair share of the income received on the day. The more of us that play, the better the prizes, so please encourage your friends and club-mates to join us.
Booking: We are making two minor changes to the booking system this year, which will hopefully make scheduling your winter golf and organising your friends a little easier:
- Booking for ALL competitions starts tomorrow Tuesday 1st September at 09:00.
- Those who book for a group of players can now book up to eight players in one go.
Trophy Competitions:
The last few years have seen us attempt to run the traditional end of season Page and Heap Trophy competitions in their original singles 18 & 36 hole formats, with little interest from even our most committed regulars.  So, with the re-introduction of the Ronnie Parkinson Trophy last year, we have decided to make the following changes:
Page Trophy: This will now be played for annually as a standard better ball competition at a chosen 9-hole venue during the first half of the winter season.
Ronnie Parkinson Trophy: This will be played for annually as a standard better ball competition at a chosen 18-hole venue during the second half of the winter season.
Roger Heap Trophy: Will be played for at our season ending event, again as a standard better ball competition.
